Greetings!
My name is Edward Board, I am a professional actor and screenplay writer here in Louisville Ky. I am a graduate at the University Of Louisville where I majored in Theater Arts Studies.
I am writing in regards to a major independent horror film that I am looking to shoot here in the city within a few years. The screenplay is called “Linger” It is about a modern day witch who loses her son in a terrible car accident along the road side one stormy night. The witch goes after the two main characters involved after trying to get justice through the court system which reluctantly fails her. After the screenplay was registered with Writers Guild Of America I began sending out inquiry letters looking for an agency out of LA and New York to pick the screenplay up. Eventually I had two agency’s wanting to take me on as a client. After some thought, I wound up turning the offer down after a few e-mail and phone conversations about what the screenplay would be optioned for. What I would get paid for it if a production company financed it.
After finishing up a business plan I decided to start raising the finances through conventional and traditional means.
The goal is to shoot a major film here in Louisville Ky, Indiana regions. Never before in cinema history has a city put up it’s own movie that had commercial success. I want to introduce a platform (Lou. Ky) where major independent films are shot and stimulate our economical growth with jobs and reading writing facility programs through the craft of film making.
I am simply looking for sponsors to get behind me on the project. There is no monetary involved on the part of the businesses sponsoring the film. All businesses will be put on my sponsors website page, along with the business listing information. Sponsors will also be placed on a banner taken through out Louisville Ky during the fund raising events.
Some SPONSORS attached to Linger Film.
